12 Schoolyard Greening Tips

I recently attended the Sustainable Oregon Schools Conference. There was a great mix of speakers and topics. The host school, Trillium School of West Linn was amazing! (More on that soon) It was nice to see many familiar faces and some new ones too. I wanted to share a portion of my presentation that focused on schoolyard greening.

Every project and site is different, so take this as advice, not the law! These are ideas and issues in schoolyards that can help a project be more successful; more easily maintained, more student integration, have more long term success, and provide more safety to students.
